Waking up is getting easier and I'm finding myself having more energy available daily. Today was a bit of a late start because I had trouble falling asleep the night before.

-Green Banana Mango Smoothie-
1 lg. Banana 120 cal
4 md. Banana 420 cal
2 Cups Mixed Greens 20 cal
1 Mango (cubed) 135 cal
1/4 Cup Water
2 Cups Ice (cubed)
Total 695 cal
The first day I opted away from my usual choco-banana smoothie, but this mango smoothie was a great fruity way to start the day. Lots of energy and great taste! Just blend the bananas, half the mango, the 2 cups of mixed greens, and water. Add the ice, blend again, and top with the remaining cubed mango. Made the standard 1.25 liters or 3 glasses, two of which went down with ease in 30 minutes. The later I finished up around 5:00PM.

-Green Choco-Banana Smoothie w/banana slices, cacao nibs, & raisins-
5 md. Banana 525 cal
2 Cups Mixed Greens 20 cal
1/4 Cup Water
2 Cups Ice (cubed)
4 Tbsp. Cacao Powder 96 cal
3 Tbsp. Cacao Nibs 98 cal
1/4 Cup Raisins 109 cal
Total 848 cal
If you were wondering where my usual chocolate smoothie for the first meal of the day went, I just switched it to a bit later in the day. Again, a nice 1.25 liters here. This one was big, but I managed to finish all three glasses in just under an hour. I'm really starting to not taste the greens as much as I would when I first started mixing more of them in. I used to only add 1 cup. Then I upped it to 2 cups. I think it might be time to add a bit more to get back that "green" flavor that is actually quite enjoyable!
10:30PM
-Snack-
.5 oz. Goji Berries 50 cal
1 md. Banana 105 cal
Total 155 cal
I was out doing some late night boot shopping for the start of my job at the ski mountain very soon (hopefully this week), and just got a bit hungry so I reached for some of the fruit I had brought along.

1 lg. Banana 120 cal

Decided to get a few other things at another store late night, and afterwards grabbed some more fresh fruits. After both these super satisfying snacks, I was getting boosts of energy like I haven't experienced in years! Literally "jumping up and down" energy and "dancing" energy. I was loving the holiday music in the stores and was really having a blast talking with everyone and simply just "kidding" around. In the car on the way home, I had so much energy I didn't know what to do with! By the time I got home, I still had plenty of energy. There were a few things to take care of around the house so I got to work on that until I got hungry again.

-Fruit Salad-
1 1/4 Cup Baby Spinach 13 cal
2 lg. Leaves Romaine 10 cal
1 lg. Cucumber 40 cal
1 lg. Starfruit 38 cal
1 lg. Pear 120 cal
1 Strawberry 5 cal
1/4 Cup Raisins 109 cal
Total 335 cal
Pretty much just another snack here, but it was the fuel I needed to finish up the night. I grabbed a single strawberry and a handful of raisins as I cut up a nice small salad. I was getting surprisingly tired for having gotten off to a late start, so I started to relax, reading some online text and doing some research about getting things in order for going back to college. It's been 4 years since I left school back in 2007, and I think about going back every year to get some more of an education. With the energy and focus live foods have been giving me, maybe they will really help push me to get all the work done needed to return.
3:00AM
-Banana-
1 lg. Banana 120 cal
Okay, so I lied. I managed to get another nice boost of energy which I used to chop up and freeze some bananas and mangos. So while working, I just chomped on a single large banana.
-Exercise-
No exercise today besides walking around the stores. I did do a lot of walking, maybe even close to a half mile again like the other day, but as the night went on and I got more tired, it kind of slipped my mind that I hadn't exercised yet. Sad thing is, I did have a lot of energy after getting home from the stores. I wish I would have utilized it better. But tomorrow, I'll surely find time and energy to increase the workload!

The numbers today are much better than yesterday's. In fact, I did my best to get the fat down to a below-par number today, simply to compensate for yesterday's overload. Realistically, it was not a chore, as my body was still satisfied from the extra fat from the day prior. Because of this, the protein was a bit lacking, but tomorrow when I return to a straight 80/10/10 goal, I feel I will meet all of the needs accurately.
I probably sound like a broken record, but each and every day seems to get easier and MORE ENJOYABLE than the last! This is really starting to be a wonderful experience that I do not think I'll be giving up after the 30 days! This newly found livelihood and energy is just too much to disregard.
