Day 23

It's been so long since I posted on here, and I apologize if anyone had been following and suddenly seen the blog stop. I got way too overwhelmed with my job and the holidays, as well as all the math required to calculate the daily totals. Since I don't have a subscription to an online diet log/calculator (which can calculate the totals for you), I have been doing all the calculations myself which takes about 30-45 minutes per post. I do plan to get all of the blog posts that are overdue up as soon as possible, so without further ado Day 23.


The day started off well as I was still feeling great from the day prior.

10:45AM
-Fruit Bowl-

3 md. Banana 315 cal
1 sm. Banana 72 cal
1/2 Mango 68 cal
1 1/2 Tbsp. Pumpkin Seeds 60 cal
1/4 oz. Blueberries 8 cal

Total 523 cal

I was feeling so well from the last meal of the day before, that I decided to have nearly the same thing this morning, just with some added pumpkin seeds. So delicious and a great start to the day having a bit of everything!

1:00PM
-Mini Snack-

1/4 md. Banana 26 cal


Just before heading to work, I was a tad hungry so I chomped on a bit of frozen banana.

3:00PM
-Salad-


1 1/2 Cup Baby Spinach 15 cal
3 lg. Leaves Romaine 15 cal
1 Cucumber 30 cal
2 Carrot 42 cal
1 Stalk Celery 9 cal
10 Green Beans 17 cal
1/2 Avocado 161 cal
1/2 Lemon 12 cal
1/4 Cup Lentils 140 cal

Total 441 cal

Soon after getting into work, hunger struck and I took a very early break to attempt to get down all of this salad. Finished most of it and what I didn't get down I snacked on afterwards whenever I had a chance until it was gone.

4:00PM
-Snack-

2 sm. Banana 180 cal

After the salad was finally gone, I was still a bit hungry so I grabbed 2 small bananas to fill the void.

6:45PM
-Snack-

1 Fruit and Nut Bar 241 cal
3 sm. Banana 270 cal

Total 511 cal

It seemed like I had just eaten but I was still hungry so I continued to eat.

10:30PM
-Green Banana Ice Cream Swirl w/veggies-

2 Cup Mixed Greens 15 cal
1 Cup Collard Greens 11 cal
3/4 Cup Water

Total 603 cal

It had been some time since last eating, but this nice drink was well worth the wait from last eating around 7:00PM. I finished the whole thing in 45 minutes.

-Exercise-
I got a good amount of exercise in at work today, as it was the middle of our busy week of the year (Christmas week). With a lot of guests, I was constantly moving around, getting decent exercise.

It felt like I had eaten a lot today but the numbers actually reflect that I ate less than "average." With the addition of my daily salad, with a high concentration of protein, as well as a bit more fat than usual, the protein numbers were up where I want them, with the fat also not too far over the 10% threshold. Great day overall.
